Betty Smith, Mid-MO Region - Treasurer
Betty had been very active in the local Boone County OATS Support Committee for over a decade before being appointed to serve on the Board in 2001. Betty is often called upon by staff to be a spokesperson for OATS at meetings, senior events and with the media. She works closely with Mid-MO Regional Director Jack Heusted to secure United Way funding in Columbia each year and on other fund raising activities, including the annual golf tournament.
