Mid-Missourians to Benefit from OATS Golf Tournament

OATS, Inc. will be holding their fourth annual golf tournament on August 3, 2009 at Columbia Country Club in Columbia. The event will consist of a four person scramble, with all proceeds going to help OATS replace worn vehicles that service those in need of transportation in Mid-Missouri.
OATS, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit transportation provider serving 87 counties in
Missouri with a fleet of over 650 vehicles. In Mid-Missouri, 15 counties are served by OATS who takes customers to doctor appointments, essential shopping and work. For each vehicle OATS acquires, they must raise between $6000 and $8000.
Registration for the tournament will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $275.00 per team and includes green fees, cart and lunch. There will be a hole-in-one contest with a prize of $10,000, as well as contests for longest drive, longest putt, closet to the pin and other door prizes. There will also be a raffle for a 2009 Exotics XCG-V Driver.
This year’s event is sponsored by Boone County National Bank, Tran Systems, Master’s Transportation Inc. and Custom Muffler. Hole sponsorships are available for $150.00, and door prize donations are welcomed.
