To Springfield from Eastern Greene County:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays  

 

In-Town Springfield: 

  • Monday-Friday   (for seniors Age 60+ only) ​

To Northview Senior Center from North Springfield:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday  (for seniors Age 60+ only)

​

To Southside Senior Center from South Springfield: 

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (for seniors Age 60+ only)

To Mt. Vernon, Branson, or Fayetteville from Springfield:

  • Mondays (Veteran Transportation)

Northeast Greene County:                   

To Strafford from Strafford: 

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (for seniors Age 60+ only)

To Fair Grove from Fair Grove Area:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

Northwestern Greene County:

To Springfield from Ash Grove/Walnut Grove/Willard: 

  • 1st and 3rd Thursdays (General Public)

To Willard from Walnut Grove or Ash Grove: 

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Tuesdays

To Springfield/Ash Grove Area:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (Medicals Priority)

Southwestern Greene County:

To Springfield: 

  • Mondays

  • 1st and 3rd Wednesdays 

To Republic from Republic Area: 

  • Monday (General Public)

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday    

To Springfield from Republic Area:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Age 60+ Medicals)   

 

Fares (one way):

  • In-town Springfield: $2.00* 

  • In-town rural communities: $2.00*

  • In-county: $3.00*

  • Adjacent County: $4.00*

  • Long-Distance (three counties or more): $6.00*

  • Each additional enroute stop: $1.00

 

Seniors aged 60+ and individuals with disabilities riding under the AAA contract do not have a set fare but are asked to contribute a minimum amount for their rides. OATS Transit will provide contact information for riders to contribute directly to the applicable AAA. Space on any scheduled route is limited depending on passenger load, locations, trip purpose, and funding. Priority may be given for scheduled doctor appointments and dialysis.

*Drivers no longer accept payment from riders on the bus. Riders can add funds to their account before riding and each time they ride the fare will be withdrawn.  When calling to add funds to your account a minimum amount of $10.00 is required. You can send a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check to the OATS Transit office if you do not want to pay by credit/debit card
