(Columbia, Missouri, January 30, 2024) – OATS Transit, a Missouri based not-for-profit transportation provider, announced that it has received a grant from MFA Oil Foundation totaling $2000.
These funds will be used toward the local match for a new vehicle coming this Spring. Since 1971, OATS Transit has provided transportation for work, medical appointments, essential shopping, and other community resources to rural residents of any age.
“We are pleased that MFA Oil Foundation is supportive of our mission to ensure people have access to community resources,” said Dorothy Yeager, OATS Transit Executive Director. “We are grateful that the MFA Oil Foundation is able to help us with the local match needed to purchase our replacement vehicles,” added Yeager.
